Founding dentist · Prosthodontics, doctorate

Dr. Dt. Mustafa Solmazgül

He treats across the full range of dentistry, from a single filling to full-arch rehabilitation. His doctorate is in prosthodontics — the discipline that rebuilds teeth which are worn, broken or missing, and that decides how the rebuilt bite will behave over the following decades. Almost every case shown on this site ends in it.

Dr. Dt. Mustafa Solmazgül, prosthodontist at Clinova Dental in Ankara, in a white clinic coat with dental loupes.

He qualified in dentistry at Dicle University in 2013 and completed his doctorate in prosthodontics at Gazi University, Ankara, between 2015 and 2020. In Türkiye a doctorate in a dental discipline is the qualification that makes a dentist a specialist in it. Five years of that ran alongside a full clinical list — public hospitals and private practice in Ankara, at the caseload state dentistry involves — which is an unusual amount of chair time to carry through a doctorate rather than after it.

From 2020 to 2025 he worked in health tourism clinics in Antalya, where nearly every patient had arrived by plane. That is where the non-clinical half of this practice comes from: sequencing treatment so that nothing is left half-finished when a flight leaves, saying in advance what cannot honestly be completed in the days available, and writing records a dentist in Germany or Britain can act on without telephoning us. In 2025 he founded the practice in Çankaya, Ankara, that Clinova Dental is the international arm of.

He places implants as well as restoring them, and he still does the general work that fills most of a dental week: fillings, root treatments, crowns. A practice whose founder only performs the expensive procedures is a practice organised around its invoices rather than around its patients.

He treats in Turkish and English. German runs through patient coordination and through your written documents rather than through the dentist himself — worth stating plainly, because in this industry “we speak German” almost always means exactly that.
