About Clinova Dental

Clinova Dental is the international arm of a dental practice in Çankaya, Ankara. The clinic exists because patients travelling from abroad need something a domestic practice is not built to provide: a plan that is complete before they arrive, and support that continues after they leave.

What we do differently

Most of the difference is organisational rather than clinical. Good dentistry is good dentistry anywhere; what fails international patients is almost never the drilling. It is the plan that changed on arrival, the price that grew, the consent form nobody could read, the crown that was never documented, the clinic that stopped replying once the flight home had left.

So we built the practice around those failure points. Imaging before quotation, so the plan is clinical rather than optimistic. One written price covering everything the plan contains. Documentation of every material used, handed to the patient. A named coordinator who answers in the patient's own language. And an open line afterwards, indefinitely, because that is when most questions actually arise.

Clinical approach

Three principles run through the treatment we provide.

Diagnose before treating. A quote produced from a photograph of a smile is a sales estimate. Implant plans are built on cone-beam CT data; restorative plans on intraoral scans and, where the bite is involved, articulated records. If the imaging changes the plan, we tell you before starting, not during.

Remove as little as possible. Enamel does not regenerate and a tooth's own root outperforms any replacement. That means preparing veneers through an approved mock-up rather than by eye, recommending whitening and bonding where they achieve the goal, keeping a restorable tooth with endodontics instead of extracting it, and treating extraction as the last option rather than the efficient one.

Say what a case cannot achieve. Very dark tetracycline staining limits how bright thin ceramic can be. Severe sleep apnoea is not treated with an oral appliance. Complex fixed-appliance orthodontics does not suit someone who can visit twice. These conversations happen at the enquiry stage, in writing, where they can still affect a decision.

Working in three languages

Treatment plans, consent documents, risk explanations and aftercare protocols are provided in English, German and Turkish. This is not a courtesy — informed consent given in a language a patient does not read is not informed consent, and aftercare instructions that cannot be understood are not aftercare.

The relationship with Dent Denge

Clinova Dental operates from the Dent Denge Ağız ve Diş Sağlığı Polikliniği practice in Çankaya, Ankara, which serves Turkish patients under its own name. Clinova is the same clinic, the same clinical team and the same equipment, organised for patients who are travelling — with the coordination, documentation and language support that requires.

What happens after you go home

Every patient leaves with their radiographs and clinical records, an implant passport where implants were placed, documentation of the materials and shades used, and a written maintenance protocol addressed to their own dentist. Remote review by photograph remains available to you without charge, and where hands-on care is needed near home we will speak to the treating dentist directly.

Standards

The things that decide whether treatment lasts

Evidence before opinion

Imaging, measurement and documented materials — not estimates from a photograph and not brand names without traceability.

Conservation first

The smallest intervention that achieves the goal. Enamel and natural roots are finite and are treated that way.

One price, in writing

Everything in the plan is in the price, agreed before travel. Nothing is added while a patient is in the chair.

Understood, not translated

Plans, risks and aftercare in English, German and Turkish. Consent means nothing in a language you cannot read.

Ask us anything before you commit

Questions about a plan you have been given elsewhere are welcome too — a second written opinion costs you nothing.
