Why Clinova

Reasons you can check, not claims you have to trust

Every clinic says it is experienced, modern and patient-focused. None of that is checkable, so none of it should persuade you. Here is what you can verify about us before you spend anything.

We are the international arm of Dent Denge, a dental practice in Çankaya, Ankara. Same building, same team, same equipment as the patients who live here use — the difference is that this side of the practice is set up for people who arrive by plane and need the whole plan settled before they book one.

What follows is not a list of virtues. It is a list of things you can test.

You can find out who will treat you, by name

The most common structural problem in dental tourism is that the person who examines you is not the person who treats you. In a high-volume clinic your case passes through several hands, and each handover is a place where the shade you agreed or the tooth you asked to keep gets lost.

Ask us for the name of the dentist who will see you, and ask before you commit to anything. If you ever get "the team" as an answer from any clinic, including this one, treat it as a warning.

You can see real cases, framed honestly

Our before-and-after photographs are our own patients, published with written consent, and they are unedited. Where a before shot was taken with cheek retractors and the after is a natural smile, we say so on the case itself — because a harsh clinical before next to a relaxed, well-lit after flatters the result before any dentistry has happened.

We also publish a case where four front teeth were treated and the patient's own canines were deliberately left alone, so you can see the shade step where the work ends. It is not the most flattering photograph on the site. It is an honest one.

You can ask what we will not do

There is a version of this trade where the answer to every request is yes. We will tell you when a treatment you have asked for is not the right one for your mouth, when something is better done by your own dentist at home, and when a case is not suited to travelling at all. Orthodontics is the clearest example: it needs regular review, and we say so at the enquiry stage rather than after you have booked a flight.

A clinic that has never talked a patient out of anything is not being generous with you.

You can get the plan in writing before you fly

Send a photograph or a panoramic X-ray and you get back a plan with line items: what we would do, how many days across how many trips, what the price covers and — the part that matters — what it does not, including the things that might become necessary once a scan exists. Nothing about a mouth can be finally settled from a photograph, and we will not pretend otherwise. But you should know the shape of it before you book anything.

You can deal with the clinic directly

A large share of international dental enquiries in Türkiye are answered by intermediaries rather than clinics, and the commission — typically fifteen to thirty per cent — sits inside the quote. It is paid either by you, or by the clinic cutting something to protect its margin.

When you write to us, you are writing to the clinic. There is no agency layer and no commission inside your price.

You can choose Ankara on purpose

Nearly all dental tourism points at Istanbul and Antalya, for travel reasons rather than clinical ones. Ankara has the country's oldest dental faculties, and its practices are built around a resident population that comes back — which is a very different incentive from one built around patients who fly home and are never seen again. It is a shorter journey across the city, a cheaper hotel, and a practice where the treatment is the point of the trip rather than the excuse for it.

What that means in practice

Six things you can hold us to

One dentist, start to finish

The clinician who examines you is the one who preps and fits. Ask for the name before you commit.

Our own patients, unedited

Real cases with written consent. Where the two shots were framed differently, the case says so.

We will say no

When a treatment is wrong for your mouth, or better done at home, you hear it at the enquiry stage.

Line items, not one number

What the price covers and what it does not, including what a scan might add. In writing, before you fly.

No agency in between

You write to the clinic. No coordinator commission is buried in your quote.

Ankara, deliberately

Oldest dental faculties in the country, a practice built for locals who return, fifteen minutes across town.

What we are not

The honest limits, so you can rule us out quickly if we are the wrong fit.

We are not the cheapest. There are clinics in Türkiye quoting less than we do, and some of them are perfectly competent. The difference is usually in the implant system, the imaging and the chair time, which is exactly where a difference is hard to see until several years later. If price is your only variable, you will find a lower number elsewhere.

We are not a holiday. Ankara is a working capital city, not a coastline. If you want treatment wrapped around a beach week, Antalya does that better and we will not pretend otherwise.

We are not the easiest to reach. Istanbul has more direct flights from more European cities. From some airports you will connect. That is a real cost and you should count it.

We are not a package. We quote the dentistry and help with hotels and transfers separately, on purpose — so that no clinical decision is being made under the pressure of a fixed return flight.

We are not suitable for every case. Treatments that need frequent review over months — orthodontics above all — suit a travelling patient badly. We say so before you book, not after.

Test any of this before you commit

Send a photograph or a panoramic X-ray. You will get back a named dentist, a plan with line items and an honest answer about whether travelling here makes sense for your case.
